Communities!
and slept like the dead until two in the afternoon. I was still entirely too cracked to draw though, in that any questions had like- a five second delay before I could manage to answer them. Which was really really amusing for Miles. Who kept asking
me things, and throwing non-sequitors at me for his own amusement. Because he's a booger, and that's fun for him. Anyway. Yes.
I'm continuing to pimp the LiveJournal Community. People who join get virtual cookies. So... they should. Definitely.
What else? Something about fish...
Oh! Literally! Something about fish! While she was bisiting me (that's a purposeful typo) Kara outlined her version of the first comic, as done with fish. Which will be posted- maybe Saturday, maybe as just an extra goodie comic.
There's also a FaceBook Group. It has 50 people in it so far! (As of- about 11.25 on Sunday night, so probably more than that now.) But, dood! Exciting.
I am aware of the existence of Myspace but... there's just so few things I like about it. Especially the fact that people can embed music into the page. If I have the sound on, it's probably because I'm listening to something I like.
It's likely not what you like. And even if I don't hate your music- who's to say I wanted to listen to it anyway? In general, I think the layouts are cluttered and fussy. And really- I have this space, and a DA, and Livejournal. And Facebook- which is good for
networking. What more do I need?
Oh yah. Miles was asking, 'How come you don't just have a forum on the comic?' Well... because somewhere around eleventy jillion people use Livejournal (I don't have the exact figures on that, but I estimate it to be somewhere in the jillions) and, not a jillion
hits here every day. See- really, the LJ Community, is to pimp the comic, because I tend to scour other communities and f-lists for things I might like and check them out. And, I'm guessing I'm not the only one.
That said, there is the possibility of starting a forum here, if people are interested in that kind of thing, I can look into it. Have I said people are welcome to email to me/post to the lj any arts they feel like creating? Because they totally are. And, just because
I don't have a fanart page yet, doesn't mean I'm opposed to one...
