Words of advice-

So, I had a sadness happen today. Somehow- my webcomics bookmark folder deleted itself. I have no idea how this happened. Thankfully, I have the Google toolbar, with all my Mozilla bookmarks imported to it, so I just had to move them back to Mozilla. *whew* It's not totally current with what I was reading, but pretty close. I think the only one I have to rebookmark is No Pink Ponies. And there, I've done it. So- my words of advice are to have your bookmarks on a page, or to have a Google Bookmark backup like I do. Just in case. Saved me having to track down 30+ webcomics, plus I found a couple that I stopped reading for some reason that I added again. I'm sure I'll be reminded of why I stopped, but until then- they're back.

Also, Miles is awesome. (For people who don't know, Miles is my husband) Even though he elbowed me in the boob in his sleep because he was doped up on cold medicine. But, yeah. He rocks. Best. Husband. Ever.

Actual news!

Oh! Yeah, I have actual news! As of November 7th Geek Blather will be 1 year old! Ah know, it's exciting. I'm pleased to say that in a year, I've only missed 2 updates (or rather, I posted sketches on two days, rather than a finished strip.)

I've made a switch from updating the storyline two days a week to three days a week (yes I know that a lot of people like the silly saturday strips, but the story needed more room). The comic has gotten fanart, and fanfiction (both of which are really exciting for Kara and I), been reviewed twice, and generally seems to get a pretty good response from people. So- in general, things are going well. And- it's pretty cool, that I've managed to keep up with the strip all year, and haven't flaked out on it. Yaay!

I totally had the comic done, I just forgot to post it last night before I went to bed. Hopefully, since it's Saturday people won't notice. Unless they get up early... or live on the East coast.

Ah well. It's up now.

I refuse

I would just like it noted- that I refuse to get sick. And that's that. Not happening.

Oh- my wireless was Le tarded, but- now I think I've fixed it- by virtue of getting a usb wireless thingie. Ah well. It's actually twice as fast as my old one, so- that's good. C'est la vie. (La vee)
