Computer update

I got a call from my computer guy... and apparently he can't fix it, so Dave is on a trip to HP to be fixed. *sigh* It will probably be about two weeks before I have him back, so, until then any comics that show up will be incidental, as they mean working on not-my computer. On the plus side, when I get him back, hopefully he'll be in better working order, with happy ports and battery and everything. One can hope anyway.
Sorry for the impromptu hiatus guys. This is really frustrating.

So... my computer has fuxxed. Uhm. In a not-starting-at-all kind of way. So, I'm taking it in to a repair place... any donations folks feel like helping out with would really really really help out at this point. Even if it's just like- a dollar.
Comics will be up again... whenever I get my computer up and running again. (Currently I'm at work posting this.)

Anyway, need more hours, but unfortunately that means less time for comic. So, two comics this week, hopefully going back to normal schedule next week.

More clarification...

Yes, Thanksgiving, but dessert time (because that's when Katie was invited over... it was like- 3 strips ago.) There are actually three disciples missing- I believe. Because I didn't have enough characters. Well, I have enough characters, but the others wouldn't be there- and it would be too confusing. The positions are more or less arbitrary, because I really don't uhm... care too much about which disciple is which. Most everything I know about disciples I learned from "Lamb: The gospel according to Biff, Christ's childhood pal."
Gwydia is in the 'Jesus' big arms position- if you double check- same position, just one of her arms is hidden.

It's ok though. Thankfully, I have a backup hard-drive, and my install files for all my art programs are on there. So, it was just a matter of uninstalling and re-installing the program and reloading the brush files.

But still. I was alarmed.

Before folks complain about the lack of free entertainment today (Eldon, I'm looking at you) I was supposed to be home yesterday. I am not. My flight was canceled leaving Boston, so I stayed an extra night there, now I'm on my coast, but still not home yet. Comic up either this afternoon or later tonight, depending on whether I finish it before getting all the way home or not.

I'm irritated with myself. I've been having a terrible time getting the comic up lately. (Duh, as it's now one am.) So, what I'm doing to do is switch to a Monday Wednesday Friday schedule. Which means, I won't have to be coming home (on a Monday) drawing the Tuesday comic.

Gah, remind me never to take a break from the comic again. It makes my scheduling all... floopy. So, new comic Wednesday, then Friday, etc, and so on.

(It would also rock if my work schedule stabilized at all.)

Announcements!

The holidays are looming, and rather than flub updates because I'm going to be driving to Northern Washington, and have uncertain internet access, I'm going to do something I haven't done the whole run of the comic.
That thing is take a week off.
So, for the week of Christmas, the 24th through the 30th, I'm going to take a break, relax with family, and maybe even get a little caught up. I haven't taken a break the whole run, and I think it's about time.
If folks want to send fanart or guest strips, they can, but if not, no biggie. Basically I've had a really long month, which ended up with me saying goodbye to my old car, and getting a new(er) one. Anyway. Just so folks know, I'm going to be taking a break. I'm a-zausted.

I had every reason not to do a comic today. I'm not going into it here, but- suffice to say- I very nearly didn't do one.

Bleh. So instead- lazy nonexistent backgrounds and photoshop effects.

(Actually, this is pretty much how I planned this strip. With simpler drawings, and less anal retentive tweedling on my part.)
